ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT
Stephen James DIRECT MAIL accepts its responsibilities in environmental matters and recognises that good environmental management must be an integral and fundamental part of our business. Although we believe that we have a minimum impact on the environment,Stephen James DIRECT MAIL aims to continue to improve its environmental performance by:
- Educating our employees to recognise their responsibilities regarding the protection of the environment and to communicate this to our staff, customers and suppliers.
- Conserving natural resources by reducing the use of energy and by recycling. Where possible we use recycled materials and biodegradable polythene or source ‘fair trade’ supplies. We have set up recycling units for all excess insertions and packaging. This service is also available to clients who have paper and cardboard for recycling.
- The prevention of pollution by the control of materials and processes that may have an effect on the environment. By managing waste and avoiding the use of hazardous substances.
- Complying with the requirements of all environmental legislation as a minimum of performance.
- Making our environmental policy and objectives publicly available to interested parties.
